This page offers help with using specific functions within the New GIS-NET Public application, and provides information regarding how to use it effectively. You may obtain answers to your questions by navigating to any of the following sections. First, please note that the New GIS-NET Public is very similar to GIS-NET3 Public and has many of the same features and functions. Getting familiar with the location of certain items is really probably the hardest thing about using the new GIS-NET application. The search and navigating options are very similar. GIS-NET Public is the next generation of our GIS Web Mapping applications now in use. This applications is going to replace GIS-NET3 (specifically). This came about from a County CIO directive to move away from applications based on Flash/Flex technology. This application will continually evolve as we update features and functions over time.
