Description: The community standards districts are established as supplemental districts to provide a means of implementing special development standards contained in adopted neighborhood, community, area, specific and local coastal plans within the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County, or to provide a means of addressing special problems which are unique to certain geographic areas within the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County. UPDATE HISTORY:9/8/14 - (Missed boundary change of Agua Dulce CSD that was adopted 3/4/14 - no map in Certified Ordinance, however, the Revised Ordinance had the map)10/22/14 - for an update of the Certified Coastal Boundary from the Coastal Commission - affects North Area and Coastal Zone4/22/15 - for an annexation to Los Angeles from Florence-Firestone (Jordan Downs)2/4/16 - Removed Topanga and Malibou Lake CSDs as they were repealed with the adoption of the SMMLCP (this was not done previously)11/22/16 - updated from massive city boundary update per DPW data.1/11/18 - CSD ordinance adopted on 12/12/17 by ordinance #2017-0055. NOTE: Only the Date Adopted attribute updated, no modifications to the boundary were made...see Sub-Areas for the boundary modifications.6/17/19 - updated the names of CSDs that were corrected in the new Title 22 that was adopted by the Board of Supervisors in January, 2019. "East Compton" changed to "East Rancho Dominguez"; "East Pasadena - San Gabriel" changed to "East Pasadena - East San Gabriel"7/25/19 - updated for annexation and detachment from the city of Arcadia to South Monrovia Islands and East Pasadena-East San Gabriel, respectively. Effective 6/13/19, and a link to the official LAFCO annexation document is here.9/9/21 - Added the Green Valley CSD, and modified the Leona Valley CSD, both of which were adopted by the Board of Supervisors on 8/10/21 (effective date 9/9/21). Links to ordinances: Green Valley, Leona Valley.1/26/22 - updated the Twin Lakes CSD boundary through the zoning conflation project to follow the updated parcels along the southern border.2/23/22 - added Three Points - Liebre Mountain CSD that was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on 1/25/22, and became effective on 2/24/22.12/20/22 - updated for Reorganization (Tesoro Del Valle) between Santa Clarita and Santa Clarita Valley. Effective on 11/14/22.12/20/23 - added Chapman Woods CSD, and modified the boundary of the East Pasadena - East San Gabriel CSD. Link to updated ordinance is here.1/18/24 - added Lake Los Angeles CSD, and modified the boundary of Southeast Antelope Valley CSD. Link to updated ordinances for both is here (Lake LA, SE AV)2/21/24 - added Pearblossom CSD that was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on 1/23/24, and became effective on 2/22/24. Link to the ordinance is here.6/18/24 - removed the Florence-Firestone CSD - this should have been done following the adoption of the Florence-Firestone Transit Oriented District Specific Plan in February, 2023.6/20/24 - following the Metro Area Plan update (became effective on this day), the following CSDs were modified: East Los Angeles, Walnut Park, West Athens - Westmont, and West Rancho Dominguez - Victoria. These CSDs were rescinded - Willowbrook and East Rancho Dominguez.4/9/25 - following the West San Gabriel and Westside Area Plans becoming effective, CSD boundaries and names were modified. A new field was added to indicate whether they were in a Planning Area Standards District, and direct links to Title 22.4/14/25 - the CSDs in the Westside Area Plan were reverted back to their original district boundaries as the proposed CSDs were removed per the Board of Supervisor's hearing, and hence, these should not have been published. These CSDs will be updated at a later time, and placeholders have been added in Title 22.
