\"Significant Ecological area (SEA)\" means an area that is determined to possess an example of biotic resources that cumulatively represent biological diversity, for the purposes of protecting biotic diversity, as part of the Los Angeles County general plan or the city's general plan. ADDED: 7/18/13<\/SPAN><\/P> UPDATE HISTORY:<\/SPAN><\/P> 6/17/15 - appended SEAs as shown in the 1986 Antelope Valley Area Plan - following the adoption of the Antelope Valley Area Plan on 6/16/15 by the Board of Supervisors.<\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI> 11/5/15 - all old SEA boundaries within the General Plan area were appended to this layer.<\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI> 12/20/18 - updated position of Buffalo Springs SEA on Catalina (they are still active until LCP is updated), SEA encroached on runway, however, after investigating issue with USGS quad maps and original maps from the Catalina Specific Plan appendices, it was found that the line was digitized incorrectly.<\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><\/UL><\/DIV><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
