IMPORTANT NOTE: On June 20, 2024, the East San Gabriel Valley and Metro Area Plans went into effect. These two Area Plan updates rescinced the following plans: East Los Angeles Community Plan, Florence - Firestone Community Plan, Hacienda Heights Community Plan, Rowland Heights Community Plan, Walnut Park Neighborhood Plan, and West Athens - Westmont Community Plan. The 'Land Use Policy - General Plan 2035' layer contains the land use policy for these communities.

Marina del Rey Land Use Plan / Specific Plan Marina del Rey Specific Plan adopted by the Board of Supervisors on March 20, 2012 and certified by the California Coastal Commission on February 8, 2012. Boundaries of Overlay Zones as defined in the Marina Del Rey Land Use Plan that are intended to encourage more crateive and desirable projects. The Mixed Use Overlay Zone (MUZ) provides additional flixibility for the development of creatively designed mixed-use projects on selected non-waterfotn parcels. Waterfront overlay Zones (WOZ) provide additional flexibility for development of coastal-related and marine-dependent land uses, primarily on waterfront parcels.

Connect Southwest LA Specific Plan Located in the community of West Athens - Westmont, adopted by the Board of Supervisors on May 12, 2020.
Florence-Firestone Specific Plan Located in the community of Florence-Firestone, adopted by the Board of Supervisors on February 7, 2023. Updated on 6/24/24 following the adoption of the Metro Area Plan.
La Vina Specific Plan Located in the community of Altadena, adopted by the Board of Supervisors on December 26, 1989. Amended 4/16/19 for Specific Plan Amendment 2007-00005-(5).
Newhall Ranch Specific Plan A large planned community in Santa Clarita Valley, adopted by the Board of Supervisors on May 27, 2003.
NorthLake Specific Plan Located in the Santa Clarita Valley, adopted by the Board of Supervisors on June 1, 1992.
Universal Studios Specific Plan adopted by the Board of Supervisors on April 30, 2013. Last Updated August 31, 2015 for boundary re-organization between the City of Los Angeles and Universal City.
West Carson TOD Specific Plan adopted by the Board of Supervisors on October 1, 2019.
Willowbrook TOD Specific Plan adopted by the Board of Supervisors on September 18, 2018.
